StoryLoop's commitment to your data.
We understand that your Jira content is sensitive and valuable. StoryLoop is designed with security and privacy as core principles. This document outlines our approach to handling your data.
Data Collection
Our app only accesses the Jira issue data necessary to perform its core functions:
- →Creating AI-generated issue descriptions
- →Generating test cases based on user stories
- →Storing template and example preferences for your projects
We do not collect or store personal information beyond what is provided through the Atlassian platform.
External Processing
To verify your pull request against the requirements defined in your issues, we make use of the GitHub API. This data includes:
- →Code that was changed in a pull request to verify against the requirements defined in your issues
Important: StoryLoop uses Atlassian-hosted large language models (LLMs) to provide secure AI features without leaving the Atlassian platform.
Data Storage
All your configuration preferences (templates and examples) are stored securely within Atlassian's Forge platform. We do not maintain separate databases of your information. Tokens provided for the GitHub Integration are stored encrypted and are only used to access the GitHub API for the purpose of verifying pull requests.
Control Over Your Data
You maintain complete control over:
- →What projects use our app
- →Which templates and examples are used
- →When AI generation is triggered
Our app only processes content when explicitly requested by users with appropriate project permissions.
