Installation & Quick Start

Get StoryCraft installed and configured in your Jira workspace in under 5 minutes.

1. Installation

Search for StoryCraft in the Atlassian Marketplace or navigate to Apps → Find new apps inside Jira. Click "Get it now".

Approve permissions so StoryCraft can read issue notes and write back formatted descriptions. No external API keys are required.

StoryCraft will immediately appear in the right-hand panel of every Jira issue and under the main Apps menu for Administrators.

Project administrators can fine-tune StoryCraft by navigating to Apps → StoryCraft Administration .

Map custom templates and Golden Examples to specific issue types (User Stories, Bugs, Epics) so generated text always fits your team standards.

Upload domain glossaries, technical terms, and architectural guidelines. The AI factors this knowledge into every issue generation.

Monitor feature adoption and see how frequently team members use Description Generation, Iteration, and Audit functions.

Sidebar Integration

Once installed, open any Jira issue and expand the StoryCraft Panel in the right sidebar. You have three powerful actions available:
