Data Collection

Our app only accesses the Jira issue data necessary to perform its core functions:

• →Fetch Jira issue descriptions and summaries to generate structured stories and plotlines
• →Access your project settings to retrieve templates and examples for story generation
• →Fetch issue description to iterate and answer questions about the generated stories and plotlines

We do not collect or store personal information at any time. All data processing is done within the Atlassian Forge environment, ensuring that your data remains secure and private. We only fetch the data necessary for the app's functionality and do not retain any information beyond what is required for immediate processing.

Large Language Models

To generate stories and plotlines, StoryCraft uses Atlassian-hosted large language models (LLMs). These models process your Jira issue data to produce structured outputs. Importantly, the LLMs do not store any of your data after processing. The data is used solely for generating the requested content and is not retained or shared externally. The used LLMs run entirely in Atlassian’s secure environment, with no data egress.

Data Storage

All your configuration preferences (templates and examples) are stored securely within Atlassian's Forge platform. We do not maintain separate databases of your information.

Control Over Your Data

You maintain complete control over:

• →Which templates and examples are used
• →When AI generation is triggered

Our app only processes content when explicitly requested by users with appropriate project permissions.
